Baton Rouge Raceway and drove off with the Late Model victory as he
battled by Jimmy Noland with three laps to go to claim the season opener

raced on to the front stretch. Blair and Noland got together with
Noland getting in to the outside wall. Blair went on to take the win
while Noland parked his car for the night following the restart.
David Ashley, Bill Gordon and Larry Clayton followed Blair across the
line. Noland and Gordon won the heat races.

UMP Modifieds. Martello led from the start but Williams emerged from
a three-wide battle for second and then used a restart to power by
Martello to take the win. Martello held off the Cassano boys for
second with Troy and Chris Cassano in third and fourth with Jerry Dugas in
fifth. Jerry Cassano and Jerry Dugas topped the heats.
Mike
Montgomery won the Street Stock heat race but he was unable to hold off
Rocky DeGruy in the feature. DeGruy and Montgomery dueled early
before DeGruy used the high line to take control of the race.
