3j's rule over Baton Rouge Raceway

Donald Watson and James Ward took the heat wins for Late Models. Ward took the lead and had a half a track lead over Eric Courville inn second till yellow flew when Jerry Bevis went flying over the back wall. Ward went on to score the win followed by Courville in second, Kevin Watts and Donald Watson battled lap after lap for third. Watts finished third and Watson fourth.
Kevin Dupont and Roger Flynn shared the heat wins in UMP. Flynn took the lead on the start followed by Dupont. Halfway through the race coming off turn four Flynn bobbled in four and Dupont took over the lead. With each lap Dupont put a little more real estate between him and Flynn who finished second. Jerry Cassano took third and Darron Carroll fourth.
In Eagle Motorsports Street Stock action, Dolan Foster took the heat win. In the feature, Foster was coming off four when he lost a yoke and drive shaft on the track. He coasted under the checkered flag and took his first win. Kennith Keating second, Jason Perry third, Jody Vicknair fourth and Jason Wilks fifth.
Justin Bowman jumped into the lead on the start of the pure stock feature and led every lap with Eric McAllister in tow. Bowman went on to score the win. McAllister took second. Jason Traux worked his way through the field to finish third. Melvin Buecker finished fourth and Tim Moran fifth. Bowman and Tim Moran took the heat wins.
Cruiser cars Johnny Whitehead and his son have won many features, but this time son Jesse Whitehead and his wife Kristi for the first time took the win. Right behind him in second was Johnny Whitehead Sr. and Allen Taylor his Grandson was co pilot. Dustin Watts and co pilot in the big Lincoln came in third Tracy Talbert and James Harrol fourth. Tracy commented after the race that was the most fun she had ever had.
